OCI's internally developed benchmarking approach is maintained through a Reference Database of more than 500 million records from employers across various industries and encompasses a broad array of workgroups. Because the issues organizations face, even within the same industry, are distinctly different, the Reference Database provides significant benchmarking opportunities across workgroups, where the populations are most similar and the results are the most meaningful.

OCI’s Reference Database contains more than 7 million employees and more than 17 million covered lives. It includes sick leave data, FMLA data, workers’ compensation data, short-term disability data, long-term disability data, medical data, prescription drug data, OSHA/Safety/OHM data, and productivity data.
