IMPLEMENTATION

The results from the Initial Discovery drive the set of reports, online tools, audience, and distribution schedules that are implemented to measure and manage each of the watch areas. Reports and online tools are selected from the extensive OCI library and added to the Customer’s Benefits Intelligence web portal. If the customer has specific reports, tools, and/or output formats that aren’t already developed in the library they are custom built at this point. The new information outputs are made available to the decision makers from line management up to senior executives providing a real-time resource that facilitates more informed decision-making when it counts.

The OCI WebOPTIS© Platform

The OCI Benefits Intelligence Web Portal is based on a mature, fourth generation, technology platform called WebOPTIS. This platform was first developed in the 1980’s as a tool for OCI data resources to mine data and produce analytic outputs. The web-based version of the tool set was built in the 1990’s for output distribution and has continued to evolve, as the Internet has become a common distribution tool in business today. OCI operates in an Application Service Provider (ASP) model, constantly upgrading the platform as part of ongoing operations providing capacity increases, functionality improvements, and security enhancements as part of the standard maintenance package.
