EAGLE MATERIALS INC. SELECTS OCI’S RMIS SOLUTION
Independent Vendor Offers Integration, Consolidated Reporting
and Improved Customer Service
CHEYENNE, WY – OCI announced today that Dallas-based Eagle Materials Inc. (EXP), a
leading supplier of cement, gypsum wallboard, paperboard and concrete and aggregates has
selected OCI to provide its web-based risk management reporting and analytic solutions.
Eagle Materials retained Palmer & Cay, a major insurance brokerage and risk management
consulting firm, to assist in the evaluation of Eagle Materials’ existing risk management
information system (RMIS), said Rod Cummickel, Vice President of Tax for Eagle Materials.
After concluding that the current system did not meet Eagle Materials’ risk management needs,
Palmer & Cay conducted an RMIS RFP to analyze alternative solutions. Eagle Materials selected
OCI because its solutions match up with Eagle Materials’ specific business needs, and OCI’s
model offered a more personal approach to customer service, Cummickel said.
Eagle Materials’ selection of OCI, an independent solutions provider, met other business needs
for the firm as well. Those issues include Eagle Materials’ need to integrate data and to utilize
OCI’s analytic capabilities to more effectively manage vendor relationships.
