The learning process continues as more data comes into the system, new initiatives are implemented within the company, and changes in the benefits industry come into play. The OCI solution is designed to continually monitor these movements and adapt the information solution to provide an optimum fit. On a regular basis (annually at a minimum) OCI conducts a Discovery Analysis update to measure changes in the watch items from the prior analysis, look for emerging trends in other areas, and apply new methods, tools, and approaches learned during the interim while working with other customers. Updates are made to the watch items for the coming period, reports and tools are adjusted, removed, or added depending on the outcome. New areas of interest are identified and in-depth analytic studies are initiated. In addition, ROI data is provided for OCI services along with an impact analysis.
Every OCI customer receives a Benefits information solution that is fully customized to the needs of their business. Not only is it customized; it is a living solution that adapts to the ever-changing business landscape and the ever-increasing knowledge base of the organization. However, don’t expect the customary high price tag of a customized solution. The OCI WebOPTIS platform and extensive library of pre-built reports and tools keep the price comparable with canned solutions from other vendors. And, don’t expect a lengthy setup project. Implementation of the initial set of services takes between 8 and 12 weeks depending on the data vendors and organizational readiness.
